Lionel C. Whitehead, also known as "boss hog" is presently behind the wall and is a lifer. He has written over two hundred poems. He says, "I decided to write poems of "Love"; Times I might never get any more. But mostly I write poems about being behind the wall and walking with Jesus Christ. I have come a long ways since the day I stepped behind these walls Dec 3, 2001. I realize everybody might not agree with my poetry then they don't have to. I write Truth, it's time, it's over time, long gone for lies. Our young people need to know the truth and our old folks need to teach it."
