Wants & Needs

by Zamounde the Footstepper

Wants and needs
Everybody has them
But for some to the extreme
Let me see...

If I dropped my mind in your hands
Would it seep through your fingers like sand
No, this could never be true
I hope
If only you knew just how deep my feelings are
You'd know that the furthest star
Could never match the glitter of my heart
When thoughts of you light up my eyes
My wants and needs over whelm my mind
I keep giving
Trying to get her meter to read " Feel" me
My waters flowing
Eroding every doubt that I have
Every "No, don't tell her man"
Don't give in
Then again I saw her
And the water began to drip
I kept refilling my cup
But how long do I have to sip
Unused feelings
No plumber could ever fix my.... leak
I tried to tighten the fixture
But she just kept on coming
My thoughts kept building
Until I exploded
And now my floor is ruined
But as I broke away from the daydream
There she stood as I held her hand
Looking forever in her eyes
As every ounce of my being transmitted
"Can you feel me?"
Or is it just seeping through your hands like sand
To be stepped on by another man

Wants and needs
Everybody has them
But for some to the extreme

(Enter the freestyle)

I have that look of hot wax dripping
Oh excuse me for tripping
But for you I have run
To the other side of the moon
Stand on the back of a baboon
Jump up and down to act a fool
Ain't nothing that I won't do
To get in the corner of your groove
Oooooooh wants and needs
On my knees
Baby please
I know you don't know me but I feel you
In my present and past state of being
Just the thought of seeing you
Drops me
Into the cup of you
