M.E.D.I.A. Manipulation Engineers Destroying Interdependent America

by Zamounde

Why must we see what you want us to see
Can not our eyes be free from your imagery
Day to day you slap us with your pictures
Night by "Knight" you sick Marshall lawmen on us
Yelling it's a raid, it's a bust
Shinin' mobile light fixtures
To tear up my home is it a must?
Looking for a Black man named Jimmy
Since he's not here I'll do good and plenty
Recorded as a dope-man, a pimp, a gansta'
When all the long I was a father,
a brother, a member of the "Other" nation

The media hyped us as a villain
Said for years we've been killin'
While in our heads we was feelin'
The chains holding us unwillin'
To confess to the crime the media has convicted
So I asked my brothers
takin' in by the third eye
Why'd we admit to a lie?

"A Black man did it"
Phrased the conversation
Did what?
Took from you your standin' in the nation.
"A Black man did it"
Phrased the accusation
Did what?
Everything in the book of damnation.
A Black man did it!
Phrased the exclamation
Did what?
Put up for too long with the M.E.D.I.A. extermination

We are the M.E.D.I.A.'s sacrifice
Played on by the windows to the mind
Objective to fill up the "'Pen"
and guarantee enough refills
So that the new plantations wouldn't die like its predecessor
Human rights were never signed and sealed
Civil rights takened at will

Evidence destroyed by the M.E.D.I.A shredders
The modern day shears
Cutting us down daily on channels
Pasting images in foreign heads
So we'd stay where we are
and keep the meter in the red
A construction project was designed
By mental engineers
To shape the thoughts
To prevent the real war from being fought
To redress the problems
removing spokes from the wheel
To destroy the warriors of tomorrow
The masses are improperly taught
To play on the ignorant fears
eliminating "Due Process"
conforming to the "Man's" will
Preventing "America" from ever becoming real

( Note: America- Home of the free; land of the "Brave" )
