Tranquility

by Wanda Seals

What do we search for when we try to find peace?

The feelings of a waterfall, flowing endlessly

As time slips away from us, we grow older

Praying each day for wisdom along the way

Serenity as a beam of light

Pushing through to say it is all right

Be still my child you will make it through the night

Peace I say a peace of mind

              Put your cares behind

Needs are taken care of by

                The ones you love

Authority, security, a balance there must be

          An Equilibrium inside of me

The words that fall from the sky

The beautiful words of a lullaby

         Fascinations of dramatizations

The ordinary and the plain often not seen

         just as important, only hidden

            A tranquil state of mind

A must in the sign of the times
