We wonder around aimlessly 
in search of what we perceive is love
we spend countless moments thinking is there someone for me
   hoping, wishing, and praying
the truth is the concept of love has long been gone
 it’s been replaced with who can fuck me long
then go home
you can’t even be my friend
  cause eventually they want to get in the bed too
so let’s just keep it mutual
   we wonder around selfishly
in search of who we can step on to get what we want
 their backs are not strong enough to hold the  weight
  we never find anything
only that you’re alone 
  to search all over again.
