Tried to force a poem
           out of my head
words and rhymes
      tug at corners of
              brain
begging to be written on
          blank paper
                      blank mind
       blank stare…
push phrases out 
             like squeegee
     on dry windshield
makes     head     ache…
      hard to connect thought
 to pen
            to paper
                          to form
what I’m trying to say is
   let go
          let it flow...
                      just
                          breathe
