I Am Humbled Everyday, By How Deep The Love Of God Is Towards Me!
I Am Humbled, When In His Presence!
I am humbled every single day, by the blessings of God.
I am humbled when my oldest daughter says,
"Mommie, Thank You for being a Mommie of Standard,
and Mommie thank you for the sacrifices made by you,
Mommie thank you for teaching me tenacity,
I'm a Survivor, I a woman discovering my destiny"
I'm humbled by that!
I am humbled by my oldest son..who exclaims...
"Thank You for Being the Best Mother In The World!
yall, I'm humbled by that!
I am humbled every time I look into the eyes of my four year old baby daughter,
A'Leilia Christina Mallett,
Who I must say is definitely, "the weight of my entire world!"
I am humbled when I experience her growth,
I am humbled when I think about the awesome responsibility
I have been given to deposit, wisdom, strength,
knowledge, character, integrity, self-respect, and self-worth in her life!
I am equally humbled when I think,
not only have I been given the responsibility
of depositing all of the above,
but in order to make the daily deposits required, for her growth
I must in turn "practice what I preach"
yeah, in order to teach....
I am humbled by how deep the love of God is for me!
I am humbled by the fact that, even though we are surrounded daily by death...
God still Commands Me To Live!
I am humbled by my need for my Creator!
I am humbled when I think...
every day God sends, I have the privilege
of loving my family,
but most of all HIM!
I am humbled by the fact that
I am blessed with the SOVEREIGNTY of God,
His Supremacy of Rule and Authority!
...I can't earn the blessings of God,
I have done nothing by way of works, and sometimes I even wonder why? myself...
but having the sovereign blessings of God in your life,
is just what it is...
It can't be explained, you can't account for why you are so blessed
but because He (God) just plain ole' decides to bless you!
And He Rules in Supremacy and Authority!
There's Nothin' Nobody Can Do Or Say To Stop Those Blessings!
Yeah, I'm humbled by that! I am truly Humbled!
He just blesses me because He just plain ole' feels like it!
Oh! but for Mercy and Grace!
I got to say it again! my friend....I am humbled!
I am humbled by the fact that each day God sends,
I'm still amongst the land of the living!
Somebody, woke up into eternity last nite, or this morning!
I'm truly Humbled by the choice of obedience!
I am humbled by my choice to obey...and say..
"Speak Lord, thy Servant Heareth"!
I am truly humbled by the "Mercies" of God,
which are renewed each and everyday!
I am humbled!
I am humbled by the, "I Love You's" by my husband!
I am humbled when he exclaims, "I'm His Good Thing!"
I'm His Queen!
ladies, you know what I mean?
yeah....I'm humbled,
I am humbled by the fact that I have been chosen to "Scribe"!
I am included within an elite group of poets,
who have chosen to use their scribe as a catalyst for inspiring others!
When I think about my mentor,
Dr. Maya Angelou
I am humbled...
When I have the privilege to read her poetry and writings,
I am humbled!
When I can live in this dispensation, where I can grow, thrive, live
inhale, exhale, the knowledge, and wisdom of
Dr. Angelou...
I am truly humbled!
What a privilege, what a blessing!
what a responsibility! What Love!
yeah What Love!
I'll say it again...
He (God) has to love me!
Look at All He has Bestowed Upon Me!!
It Humbles Me!!!
