Interference separates us
I watch him evaporate into the commotion
I call to him fading in the distance,
but he does not hear me
Dazed by despair he eventually disappears
I wander alone and misguided
missing the warmth his smile provided
I shuffle and hustle through with my mind
set on reclaiming him
Involuntarily I partake in the charade
participating in the parade
Marching my way to his requests
To meet him at our hidden nest
My hands miss his, as do my lips
Not to mention my hips pressed against his hips
Anticipating his everything
All of a sudden I feel his presence from within
When a gentle stroke of familiarity tickles me
A recognized brush against my skin
intuitively identifies him as HIM
