Remember when you did this or said that?
It's amazing what you'll remember as you go.
Remember years and years ago when so and so were popular,
remember way back when you did that to your teacher,
remember back in the day you had this and you said that
and you liked him or you adored her.
Remember when you loved this singer and hated this actor.
Adults have the advantage to say "back in the day,"
the new generation does not. We can only imagine.
But the new generation is only interested
in the new generation so it seldom happens.
But look  back at your previous years and smile at
your goods and forget about the bads.
Enjoy your memories and make new ones.
