Everything Ain’t Always All Good |

Through the course of our day we meet and greet like minds and exchange word power through conversation. Whether we are in agreement or not, it’s the exchange that is prevalent and most significant to the custom at hand and is indicative of our being interacting human beings. The fact is we live in a culture where we spend a lot of our time, a very precious entity, to indulge in this human exchange of energy. Some of this exchange is valuable and some meaningless banter. So shouldn’t this all be worthwhile? Don’t we all want more bang for our buck? The next time someone holds an exchange of words with you, Wordsmith, I ask you to check out what they are really saying to you. Look at their eyes to see if they are passionate. Do you agree with them? Are you caught up in the rapture of their song, which they sing so heartily? Are you paying attention, or just going through the motions out of courtesy thinking about what else you need to be doing? After you have conversed and philosophized with someone at depth, can you say that it was worth your time to listen to him or her? Could you hear the drums? Did you reach higher ground? Are you feeling this? If not, move on. Man don’t waste my time! Upon departure and parting words of late people say, yeah good to see you, stay Black, stay strong, it’s all good. At this point do you agree, or just go on about your busy way onto the next disciple of words and repeat the same ridiculous act of will? Do you hear those words, feel those words, do you know what they mean? All good? I dare to step out on the ledge and be the one to tread where angels fear. I’m here to tell you that before you agree, you had better reconsider, because everything ain’t always all good. Be very careful before you so hastily agree with some one else’s thoughtless, senseless rhetoric, distorted pipedream, assumptions, pitiful unsupported, undocumented frivolous statements of despair, and you agree that it’s all good. You have allowed this person to enter your sacred sanctum, invade your space of energy, which you inhabit on this earth. You surmise quickly that possibly everything is all good. You better check your self, and definitely check your energy field. I think not. Where do you stand, where do you live, what country are you in where you still feel you can say without a doubt that everything is all good? Wake up man, listen to the drums. Didn’t you see the smoke signals the twins sent out? Those days are gone, forever. It is time to pay attention, be observant and stay alert. Don’t waste your life, time, resources or more importantly other people’s time. This entity time is so sweet and so short. There are no guarantees as to what measure any of us have left. It’s all good you say, it’s all good. Look here, it’s time now to make it good by being proactive and utilizing every ounce of creativity, talent, life force energy and power God has blessed us with. There is no short cut, no Cliff Notes for success, and last but not least, there is definitely no hook up! Wake up people! Reach out for each and every opportunity and leave no stone unturned. Use one hundred and fifty percent of what you were blessed with and take the rest. At that point only will it truly be all good. Until you tap your own resources for your own wealth and talent and realize that there is no short cut, you lose. Remember that every thing ain’t always all good but you have been provided with the resources to make it all good. Don’t whine and moan about writer’s block, or no time for a project, or ideas even, not to mention issues. Hey we all have issues. Take a freaking number! At this point in 2002, if you are still confused and have issues that can’t be sorted through with proper planning, then look here, lead, follow or get the hell out of the way! But make a decision. In 2002 everyone has a chance to make a new start. A lot of 2001 will be remembered the rest of our days, we will forever be aware of the events that happened to our nation. Allow this awareness to create a place of growth from which mistakes can be corrected, and life lessons can be learned. Allow the awareness around you to serve as a place of kindness, unselfishness, forgiveness, humility, love, spirit and ultimate living. Don’t just exist, live. Don’t just live. Create a life style or die trying! Surround yourself with like minds, talents and energy for this type of energy creates a funnel through which we will grow feeding off of each other’s energy. Maslow’s Hierarchy exists for a reason. Most of us within a dying breath want to achieve our maximum self-actualization. We have the ability through our words to self-actualize. In the world of the Wordsmiths, the time has come to do our part in making it all good and not waste another minute of precious time. Right here, right now, at this moment in time in my world, everything really is all good. Yeah… |
