I attend college where I am subjected
to a collage of subjects
That systematically suppresses freethinking
Chaining the brains of sisters and brothers
Who get high off learning then turn their nose
to others of color
Mis-education breakin up my nation
Creatin dividing lines increasin self-hatin.
So called scholars debatin these ever changing times
As I change minds with rhymes
My mind is restless
No one is leading my youth
As they run from the truth
Til they are breathless
I try hard to resuscitate the mind state
Of the mentally dead
The masses are mislead
Leading chases of papers with faces
