Who Are You?

by C'Moore Productions

I know who I thought you were,
When I saw you standing there with her.
But, the man I knew showed loyalty,
And would never, ever cheat on me
So then, who are you ?

You look just like that man I knew
If I didn't know better, I would swear it was you.
The man I fell in love with cared so much about me.
He was honest and caring and so trustworthy.
My man was so protective and he would never let me go.
He loved being with me, and everyday he told me so.
And since you and I just can't seem to get along.
You couldn't be that man whose arms I called home.
So then, who are you?

The man I knew had goals in life.
He said one day he'd make me his wife.
This man I knew had such an incredible smile.
He used to kiss me real gently, then just hold me for a while.
I swear, every now and then, you act just like that man.
But now that I know better, I don't quite understand.
Who are you ?

Why did you have to trick me? Why did you let this occur ?
You claimed to be my man but you knew you belonged to her.
All this whole time you played me for a fool.
Said you only did 'cause your friends thought it was cool.
You knew that this was just a case of mistaken identity.
But you never once stopped to introduce yourself to me.
All you had to say was, "I'm not the man you think I am."
It wasn't necessary for you to hurt me with your scam.
But now that the joke is over, I have just one demand...
Who the hell are you and tell me what you did with my man ?
You are free to go with her. I don't want you any more.
It's the man I thought you were that I am looking for.
You know where my man is. I'm almost sure of that.
Please do my heart and favor, and tell me where he's at.

For all the hurt you've put me through you can do this one thing for me.
Look deep inside yourself and tell me which man you plan to be.
By the way, I don't remember who you said you were anyway ?
Introduce yourself real quickly, then bring my man back to stay.
