and i remark as we lie side by side
the celloesque curve of your spine
begging to be played
the indulgent desire of being denied
and the shameless hungering to be saved
black arms around me so strong and secure
and the torturous pleasure we so nearly endure
but doubt dulls the moment
and a question shapes your brow
curtains fall: taboo lovers repent
- "don't you know me by now?"
