Our "Hey sis" or "Whassup Bruh?"
Our strong black fists
Slightly raised
Welcomes one another into the places
That Mommas built when
God allowed them to give birth
To beautiful Africans
And though you moved North or West
And we stayed South or moved East
At all four corners
On the bus or wherever I see you
I give you a big strong smile
Maybe the silent hug
Cause you and me
