Man I keep smoking and I don't know why
I'd rather lose my soul for another $10.00 vial
All my dreams and ambitions are put on hold
while I chase these demons that control my soul
I try to stop but I can't think clear
Something's got a hold on me pulling me in
But there's another voice I always recognize
He's telling me to trust in him and his name is Jesus Christ
I want to believe that he is there but I'm so weak
I just want another hit see the devil will always tell a lie
The first thing he does is possess your mind
To see if you're trusting him or God
You see each new day is God's mercy and grace
If you woke up this morning trust him the devil's no match
That's why he uses crack to attack
so he can take you out of the natural and that's a fact
Stay in God's word, he won't leave you alone
But first you must surrender with open arms
to allow his Holy Spirit to take over and help you out
To show you He loves you more than the devil
