by Nathaniel Booker

You came just like the calm,
After a raging storm,
Unknowingly to the shattered,
A frozen heart you've warmed.

It's said for every man there's a woman
And every woman there's a man
So on my knees I pray to God
You'll come and take my hand

Could it be I am a fool,
If so then let it be...
For nothing makes me more secure
Than when you're near to me.

You've wiped away my tears
And brought beauty to my art
You've saved me from a life of pain
I give to you my heart.

Could it be I am a dreamer
Dreaming dreams of you and I
If so then please don't wake me
And I'll dream until I die
