Who Do You Think You Are?

by BlakSistah

Hey girlfriend who do you think you are?
With that beautiful face and those curves that catch eyes from afar.
And oh my sister who do you think you be?
With your charming voice tryina’ set tha captives free
Girl what do you think your tryin’ ta do?
Tellin’ the sistas to love themselves, not to rely on you know who
Why do you walk with your head held high?
What you got to be so proud of your no better than I
Who are you to demand respect?
Cause when I try that I get reject
What makes you so different from me?
You don’t have a car ain’t rockin’ no jewelry
Always tellin' the sistas to keep their legs closed
Do you know how good it feels I don’t think so?
What does a virgin know anyway you can’t possibly understand?
That sometimes that’s the best way to keep your man
So who do you think you are?
Who do I think I am? Who do I think I am?
Well I am the daughter of the everlasting lover
Why do I walk so proud? I got nothing to cover
Who am I to demand respect?
If you give respect you deserve respect. So come correct
How is it that I’m no better than you?
Saying that makes you look low; it makes you look jealous to.
I’m sick and tired of y’all girls always on my back
Cause I’m intelligent and attractive? Cut me some slack.
There’s more to attraction than short skirts and a full breast
You look and feel much better if you’re fully dressed
This image you have of beauty really makes me sick
Carry yourselves as a lady and not ‘Miss. Hit This Quick’
As for sex feeling good I guess this must be true
But some of y’all girls don’t know what’s good for you
Just because it feels good doesn’t mean its ok
The one you put out to might give you something that stays
If havin’ sex is the only way to keep him in your hand
Then let him go be smart find a MAN
To answer your question wasn’t that hard
Now tell me baby
Who do you think you are?
