He lured me to his striking den
Teased and flattened like his hen

I am stabbed with his stingray barb,
Pride voided despite guarded gab

His dynamite blasts opens my treasure
And rose garden in agonizing pleasure

What will wash away this fatal error
And keep me from this gangrene terror

Will time’s scalpel this anxiety and fear?
Will time wash off this violent tear?
